This Privacy Policy explains how Harmoza ("Harmoza", "we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, stores, protects and shares information when you use the Harmoza mobile application, website and related services (collectively, the "Services").
By creating an account or using Harmoza, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Who We Are
Harmoza is a music creation and music recognition platform designed to help users:
- recognize songs
- create music using virtual instruments
- generate original music ideas with Harmoza AI
- organize musical projects
- discover creative inspiration
Harmoza is not a music streaming service and does not provide copyrighted commercial music for listening.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you use Harmoza, we may collect different categories of information.
Account Information
When you create an account, we may collect:
- username
- display name
- email address
- encrypted password
- date of birth
- authentication provider (Google, Apple or email)
Passwords are never stored in plain text.
Content You Create
We collect the content you intentionally create inside Harmoza, including:
- instrument recordings
- music projects
- generated song ideas
- AI prompts
- AI responses
- library items
- favorites
- recognition history
You retain ownership of your original creations.
Music Recognition Data
When you use the Song Recognition feature, Harmoza temporarily records a short audio sample from your microphone.
This audio sample is securely transmitted to AudD solely for the purpose of identifying the music being played.
Harmoza does not permanently store these temporary recognition audio recordings.
Only the recognition result (such as title, artist, album artwork, recognition date and time) may be stored in your recognition history.
Microphone Access
Harmoza requests microphone permission only when required.
Microphone access is used exclusively when you choose to:
- recognize music
- record instrument performances
Harmoza never records audio in the background.
The microphone is never activated without your interaction.
Harmoza AI
When you interact with Harmoza AI, the prompts you submit and the AI responses generated may be processed to provide the requested functionality.
Conversations are currently temporary and are not intended to function as permanent chat history.
Future versions of Harmoza may introduce optional conversation history.
Device Information
To improve compatibility and reliability, Harmoza may collect technical information including:
- device model
- operating system
- application version
- language
- crash reports
- diagnostic information
This information is used exclusively to improve the stability, security and performance of the Services.
Analytics
Harmoza uses Firebase services to understand application performance and reliability.
Analytics information may include anonymous usage statistics such as:
- application launches
- crashes
- performance metrics
- feature usage
Analytics are used exclusively to improve the application and are not sold to third parties.
Advertising
Free users may see banner advertisements in non-creative sections of the application.
Advertisements are provided through Google AdMob.
At this time, Harmoza requests non-personalized advertisements whenever possible.
Google may collect certain device identifiers in accordance with its own Privacy Policy.
Third-Party Services
To provide certain features, Harmoza integrates with trusted third-party providers.
These providers process only the information necessary to perform their respective services.
Current providers include:
- Google Firebase
- Google AdMob
- Google Gemini
- AudD
- MongoDB
Each provider processes data according to its own privacy practices.
How We Use Your Information
Harmoza uses collected information to:

If you delete your account, your personal information will be permanently deleted or anonymized unless we are legally required to retain certain records for security, fraud prevention or legal compliance.

Account Deletion
You may permanently delete your Harmoza account at any time from within the application.
When your deletion request is confirmed:
- your account will be permanently removed
- your library will be deleted
- your AI content will be deleted
- your projects will be deleted
- your recognition history will be deleted
Certain technical records may be retained only when required for fraud prevention, abuse prevention, security investigations or legal obligations.
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Children's Privacy
Harmoza may be used by users under the age of 13.
Parents and legal guardians are encouraged to supervise their children's use of the Services.
Harmoza does not knowingly collect unnecessary personal information from children.
If we become aware that personal information has been collected in violation of applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to remove that information.
Data Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards to help protect your information.
These measures include encrypted communications, secure authentication and protected cloud infrastructure.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
For this reason, Harmoza cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
International Services
Harmoza is operated from Guatemala.
Some of our trusted service providers may process information using infrastructure located in other countries.
Whenever this occurs, reasonable safeguards are implemented to protect your information.

The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services.
Harmoza is not responsible for the privacy practices, policies or content of third-party services.
We encourage users to review the privacy policies of every external service they use.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
When important changes are made, we will update the "Last updated" date shown at the beginning of this document.
